Tirreno-Adriatico
We start with Jonas Vingegaard, who emerges as the main candidate for the final victory in this edition of the Tirreno Adriatico, backed by his unquestionable skills (Already demonstrated in his two consecutive victories in the Tour de France) and a solid team in Visma, which for the Italian round of the two seas includes Cian Uijtdebroeks and Attila Valter, in addition to the very veteran Steven Kruijswijk.
Despite the absence of Adam Yates due to an injury, the UAE still has possibilities with runners of the caliber of Juan Ayuso and the Mexican Isaac Del Toro (One of the revelations of the season). The teamwork of the UAE can put Vingegaard in serious trouble.
BORA presents a lineup led by Colombian Daniel Martínez. The absence of Primoz Roglic (who will be in Paris-Nice) does not weaken the team, since it includes other heavyweights such as Jai Hindley and Lennard Kämna to achieve good positions in the general classification.
Ben O'Connor, who recently stood out for a second place in the UAE Tour, appears as a strong contender due to his time trial and climbing skills.
INEOS shows a diverse line-up, with Tom Pidcock standing out as a serious contender in the general classification. Thymen Arensman is also free to look for individual results in the race. In addition, a good result is expected from Ganna in the time trial that precedes the start of the race.
The Spanish Enric Mas is the bet of the Movistar Team, who although he starts the season a little later than usual and his preparation may not be ideal, he could be a strong contender if the circumstances arise.
Simon Yates is the Jayco-AlUla team's bet, trusting in his experience and skills to compete in the general classification.
Richard Carapaz, after a mixed performance in the Tour of Colombia, raises uncertainties about his fitness. Although he is expected to fight for stage wins, his position in the general classification is uncertain.

Paris-Nice
In the 82nd edition of Paris-Nice, two names stand out: Primoz Roglic (champion in 2022) and Remco Evenepoel, one of the most notable figures in recent years. Both are emerging as the main favorites to win the French round, despite the fact that Roglic is starting his season and Evenepoel has not yet participated in this race, which will surely serve as preparation for his intention to participate in the next Tour de France.
Roglic, who will wear the colors of the Bora team for the first time in this race, demonstrated last year his ability to win without prior training, as evidenced in the Tirreno-Adriatico. For his part, Evenepoel comes to the competition with great confidence after triumphing in the Volta ao Algarve recently.
The race for the title seems determined to be fought between these two titans. In any case, we cannot forget that there are other cyclists who also aspire to do a good job, such as: David Gaudu (runner-up last year), the Spanish duo made up of Carlos Rodríguez and Pello Bilbao, or the Portuguese Joao Almeida, among others.
Regarding absences, it is relevant to note that two of the three outstanding members of the previous edition, Tadej Pogacar (winner) and Jonas Vingegaard (third place), will not participate on this occasion. After his participation in the Strade Bianche, Pogacar has chosen to reserve himself until the Milan-San Remo, with a month of March focused on the classics, while Vingegaard will be competing this week in the Tirreno-Adriatico as we have mentioned previously.

The season is coming to an end but there is still excitement (Lombardia - Paris Tours)

The 2023 cycling season has been exceptional. Big names have stood out in the classics like Mathieu van der Poel, winner in spring in monuments like Sanremo or Roubaix and crowning the season with the victory in the world championship. Others like Remco Evenepoel, although he has not been able to revalidate his Vuelta of 2022, has been one of the great protagonists with extraordinary attacks and epic stages.
Continuing with the grand tours, they have provided us with plenty of emotions such as Primoz Roglic's victory in-extremis in the Giro d'Italia (with a chain exit included), the unrivalled power of the Jumbo-Visma team in the Tour with Jonas Vingegaard's second victory or the recent victory of Sepp Kuss in the Vuelta, which delighted fans all over the world for managing to win a grand tour by an underdog. Jumbo has achieved something rarely seen before, winning the Giro-Tour-Vuelta triplet. In the face of these triumphs and the rumoured merger with the Soudal team.

Now the season is almost over, but not quite. Il Lombardia is the last monument of the year, with its 238km of climbs and descents ripe for attacks and counterattacks between the titans of the peloton, the favourites for the win being Slovenian duo Tadej Pogacar and Primoz Roglic, who have been unbeatable all year. Pogacar, two-time winner of the Tour de France and the Tour of Flanders, is looking for his third consecutive Lombardia, something only within reach of legends like Fausto Coppi and Gino Bartali. Roglic, on the other hand, recently won the Giro dell'Emilia with one of his unbeatable sprints and wants to add to his palmares his second monument after Liège-Bastogne-Liège in 2020. Evenepoel and Spaniard Enric Más are not to be missed either. The excitement is at its peak in the classic of the dead leaves, the race that brings the Italian cycling autumn to a close.

La temporada 2023 de ciclismo ha resultado excepcional. Grandes nombres han destacado en las clásicas como Mathieu van der Poel ganador en primavera en monumentos como Sanremo o Roubaix y coronando la temporada con el victoria en el campeonato del mundo. Otros como Remco Evenepoel, aunque no ha podido revalidar su Vuelta de 2022, ha sido uno de los grandes protagonistas con extraordinarios ataques y etapas épicas.
Siguiendo con las grandes vueltas nos han proporcionado emociones a raudales como el triunfo in-extremis de Primoz Roglic en el Giro de Italia (Con salida de cadena incluida), el poderío sin rival del equipo Jumbo-Visma en el Tour con la segunda victoria de Jonas Vingegaard o la reciente de Sepp Kuss en la Vuelta que hizo las delicias de los aficionados de todo el mundo por conseguir ganar un grand tour un tapado. Jumbo ha conseguido algo pocas veces visto, conseguir el triplete Giro-Tour-Vuelta. Ante estos triunfos y la rumoreada fusión con el equipo Soudal.

Ahora la temporada casi ha terminado, pero no del todo. Il Lombardia es el último monumento del año, con sus 238 km de subidas y bajadas listos para ataques y contraataques entre los titanes del pelotón, los favoritos al triunfo destacan los eslovenos Tadej Pogacar y Primoz Roglic, que se han mostrado intratables durante todo el año. Pogacar, dos veces ganador del Tour de Francia y del Tour de Flandes, busca su tercer Lombardia consecutivo, algo que solo al alcance de leyendas como Fausto Coppi y Gino Bartali. Roglic, por su parte, viene de imponerse recientemente en el Giro dell’Emilia con uno de sus sprint imbatibles y quiere sumar a su palmares su segundo monumento tras la Lieja-Bastoña-Lieja de 2020. Tampoco hay que perder de vista a Evenepoel o al español Enric Más. La emoción es máxima en la clásica de las hojas muertas, la carrera que pone el broche al otoño ciclístico italiano.
Pero aún hay más, la última carrera de la que informamos en Cyclingoo es la Paris-Tours, una carrera preciosa cuya edición de 2023 de 213km recorre caminos de tierra entre viñedos y que cuenta entre sus grandes favoritos al ciclista de Jumbo-Visma (Como no) Christophe Laporte, aunque otros grandes sprinters como De Lie, Demare o Groves no se lo pondrán nada fácil.

Todos los favoritos y el recorrido del Giro de Italia 2023

Esta 106ª edición del Giro de Italia viene plagado de estrellas, entre ellas el gran favorito para ganar la competición, el esloveno Primoz Roglic, una de las máximas estrellas del ciclismo actual y que ha estado ausente de la ronda italiana desde el año 2019, donde consiguio un meritorio tercer puesto colandose en el podio junto a Nibali y el vencedor Richard Carapaz.
En esta ocasión uno de sus grande rivales será la nueva sensación del ciclismo, Remco Evenepoel, que despues de su triunfo en La Vuelta del año pasado tiene granas de demostrar que tiene nivel para competir en los grandes tours, donde justamente se batio en duelo con Roglic que, sin embargo, tuvo que abandonar al comienzos de la carrera por una fea caída.
Otros de los ciclistas a tener en cuenta son el portugues Almeida, que siempre está en los puestos de cabeza cuando llega la montaña o segundos espadas como Sepp Kuss, Vlasov o Pinot.

El recorrido del Giro 2023 en esta ocasión es mucho más italiano que en la edición anterior donde la grande partenza tuvo lugar en las llanuras hungaras, con Budapest como protagonista. En esta ocasión el centro-norte del país será el protagonista. Destacando como siempre sus imponentes etapas alpinas de kilometrajes imposibles y la penultima etapa con una cronoescalada de 18.6 Km que podría decidir el vencedor de esta edición de la ronda italiana. Se recorrerán 3449 km en 21 etapas con salida en Fossacesia Marina, en la región de los Abruzos, y llegada a Roma, la ciudad eterna, entre el 6 y el 28 de Mayo de 2023.
